Dr. Samir Mina Masoud Greeis, Egyptian-German nationality


Dr. Greeis was born in Cairo in 1962. He holds a master's degree in translation from Johannes Gutenberg University. Currently, he works as a translator in The Bundestag (the German federal parliament). He has translated major and outstanding literary works from German into Arabic. For 25 years, his works and efforts focused on continuously translating from German into Arabic. He translated more than 30 works throughout his career, some of which are works whose authors received the Nobel Prize. His efforts have contributed to enhancing translation between German and Arabic, and his translated works have contributed to the cross-cultural communication between the Arabic and German languages.
