Dr. Chong Jee Kong, a Chinese citizen who got his PhD in Arabic language and literature, worked as chairperson of the Arabic literature Research Committee in China. He worked as an advisor to Foreign Literatures Journal. He was so interested in Arabic language to the point that he produced more than 80 works ranging from authorship, translation, to literary writing. His efforts affected to bridge the gap between the Chinese and Arabic cultures, their literatures, and civilizations. His academic works contributed to strengthening the civilized communication among human cultures.
