Arab Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publicationwas founded in 1990 in Damascus, Syria. It is distinguished by its prolific output in translation and Arabization of higher education and

    tertiary education. The efforts of Arab Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publication has highly impacted the enrichment of Arabic library with scientific value translated texts, exceeding more than 130 books in 14 scientific fields. The translated works of Arab Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publication were clearly characterized by good selection and quality of translation, clear of meaning, and the appropriateness of procedures in which all suggested topics for translation are reviewed and scrutinized by specialized scientific council and committees. The Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publication also respects intellectual property laws and recognizes the copyright of authors and publishers. The winnings of world awards and prizes of some translated books issued by theCenter is a clear evidence of the success of the integrated system the Center follows. In addition, the Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publication is interested in scientific activities and strategic alliances. It has organized eight symposiums in different Arab countries and published several translated bulletins and booklets in cooperation with World Health Organization Regional Office for Eastern Mediterranean. The Center also translates the monthly Bulletin of the World Health Organization in synchronous with its original text in English. The Center for Arabization, Translation, Authorship and Publication published 42 issues of its scientific journal "Arabization", a semi-annual journal aims to achieve the Center's goals in Arabization, developing, and observing the publications of higher education in the Arab World.
