Dr. Salwa Saliman Naqli for her translation of Peter Stockwell's book "Cognitive Poetics: An Introduction" from English into Arabic. The book is about modern theories in literary criticism according the cognitive theories. It is one of the main scientific references in its field in many of world universities. Although the difficulties in translating this kind of texts, particularly in rendering terms and finding their equivalences in Arabic, Dr. Naqli has been successful in translating the meaning and phrases accurately and maintain the soul and value of the source text. The additions and explanations she added were distinguished and have enriched the Arabic version of the book.
