Dr. Nabil Radhouane for his translation of Fatema Al Wohaibi’s book The Shadow: Its Myths Cognitive and Creative Expansion “L’ombre: ses myths ses portées ses épistémologiques et créatrices” from Arabic into French. Al Wohabi’s work is one of the rare books that pays attention to the shadow concept and founds it in both Arabic and foreign cultures. The translation reflects to the target culture that Arabic literature, as other world literature, has its own thought interests and issues and is on constant intellectual motion. The translator managed to clearly render the original text into French with a smooth style.
